Three-tiered memory wire bracelet made with rose gold colored glass seed beads and acrylic beads. Memory wire holds its shape really well and it fits all adult wrist sizes.
My co-workers, friends and family really like this necklace. And of course, so do I! The seed beads are glass but the larger beads are acrylic, so it’s light weight. The leaf pendant is metal and could be removed or replaced if desired, but I think the leaf really looks wonderful with the necklace design. This is about 18 to 20 inches in length, made on .38mm copper colored beading wire, finished with a rust gold colored lobster claw clasp.
This necklace is made in an 18 inch cord (2mm coated leather cord in metallic bronze) and finished with a lobster claw clasp and jump ring. There are 12 total wooden beads on the necklace- six groups of 2 beads spread about an inch apart and held in place by knots. The pendant is turquoise (imitation)- I made it myself using a decorative silver colored head pin, a silver colored jump ring and a pretty antique silver colored slide bail. Side note- I’ve never worn turquoise jewelry before, but I found a bunch of these beads on sale on my very favorite jewelry website (Fire Mountain Gems), so I figured I’d try my hand at making turquoise jewelry (hopefully to sell it at a local arts and crafts fair this year). But I’ve decided I love turquoise- it’s so pretty! And since the pendant itself is large and beautiful, it looks nice with the simple leather cord ( I’ve also never worn leather cord jewelry either). So you’ll see more of these on my Blog soon. Also- for anyone who makes ...
I love these glass beads - they have a metallic finish and they look more like stones or gems. They look prettier in the sunlight. I used glass seed beads for the first 2 or three inches on either side- I do this to make it more comfortable- so the big beads don’t get caught in your hair or lay against the back of your neck all day where no one will see them anyway. 🙂 The charm is just a glass leaf pendant- it’s not on a slide bail- so you can easily remove it with pliers if you want to put a different charm there or just wear it without a charm. I haven’t measured this one either- it’s about 18 or 20 inches in length. It’s made on .38mm copper colored beading wire, finished with a lobster claw clasp and a cute tiny little metal leaf charm for decoration. Just a side note- it’s not symmetrical- but I made it that way intentionally. I personally think it looks cool this way, but if you prefer symmetry, I could definitely make another one that was symmetrical. 🙂🙂
