Three-tiered memory wire bracelet made with rose gold colored glass seed beads and acrylic beads. Memory wire holds its shape really well and it fits all adult wrist sizes.
This necklace is made in an 18 inch cord (2mm coated leather cord in metallic bronze) and finished with a lobster claw clasp and jump ring. There are 12 total wooden beads on the necklace- six groups of 2 beads spread about an inch apart and held in place by knots. The pendant is turquoise (imitation)- I made it myself using a decorative silver colored head pin, a silver colored jump ring and a pretty antique silver colored slide bail. Side note- I’ve never worn turquoise jewelry before, but I found a bunch of these beads on sale on my very favorite jewelry website (Fire Mountain Gems), so I figured I’d try my hand at making turquoise jewelry (hopefully to sell it at a local arts and crafts fair this year). But I’ve decided I love turquoise- it’s so pretty! And since the pendant itself is large and beautiful, it looks nice with the simple leather cord ( I’ve also never worn leather cord jewelry either). So you’ll see more of these on my Blog soon. Also- for anyone who makes ...
Length- about 16 to 18 inches (hard to measure because of the three strands) with a 2 inch chain extender. The beads are clear glass beads, with metal and cubic zirconia spacer beads (on head pins with jump rings attaching them together). The chain is really sturdy, and the necklace is light weight. Necklace is finished with a lobster claw clasp.
This is a 17 inch necklace made (with 2 inch chain extender in back). It’s made with silver 3mm beading wire. I used the following beads: 7 clear glass crackle beads (10mm in size), 8 square acrylic clear beads (about 4mm in size), 8 gray diamond shaped/rondelle beads (about 4 mm in size), 2 round metal spacer beads, 14 metal flat Tibetan spacer beads (about 3mm in size- these beads are on either side of each glass crackle bead to protect the glass from chipping over time) and several (maybe 30) silver colored glass seed beads (for the back of the necklace). I used a jump ring and silver lobster clasp in the back along with two silver crimp beads and two silver crimp bead covers to finish the necklace. This necklace is lightweight and it’s boot made of any metal so it won’t get hot in the summer. The beading wire is pretty stturdy so it makes the necklace pretty durable.
